Divorce and legal separation are hard but sometimes they are the only option. If you find yourself looking at and considering a divorce or legal separation but you don't want to hire lawyers and engage in a fight, collaborative divorce may be perfect for you. In collaborative divorce, we work together from the beginning to the end of the process, using mediation, meetings and electronic communications to cover all of the issues that need to be addressed. We keep the court apprised of thee progress and, if not all issues can be agreed upon, those issues may be reserved for the court to decide. The Collaborative Divorce Practitioner works with both sides as a neutral third-party to assist you through the divorce process with significantly less expense. You save money, time and physical/emotional stress to make a difficult process less adversarial, more effective and efficient. PLEASE NOTE: That during the INTAKE meeting, we will discuss your situation and needs to establish an estimated cost for the services you need. A retainer (not to exceed $3500) will be established for the duration of your case. The $300 paid for your intake meeting will be applied to your initial retainer. Multiple meetings will be necessary to work through the collaborative divorce process in almost every case.
